Southern Giant Petrel

Immature Southern Giant Petrel - adults have a wingspan of 185-99cm 73"-81" Their tubular nasal passage gives them the ability to smell which helps to locate patchily distributed prey at sea and may also help locate their nests within nesting colonies.
